Applying curd with orange peel makes the complexion fair. Applying curd mixed with rose water and turmeric brightens and softens the skin. Applying a mixture of lemon juice and curd reduces wrinkles on the face and skin.

Apply curd to hair and keep it for thirty minutes and then wash it with cold water. Hair is soft and silky. Applying it with henna gives better results.

Benefits of turmeric:


1. Beneficial in liver related problems


Turmeric is very useful to get relief from liver problems. It removes blood defects. Turmeric naturally increases the production of enzymes that help in removing toxic substances from the liver.


2. Get rid of spots and blemishes


Turmeric has no match in removing spots and freckles. By grinding turmeric and black sesame in equal quantities and applying it as a paste, the skin becomes clear and glowing. Paste made from turmeric and milk is also very effective in improving the complexion of the skin and keeping the face nourished.


3. Remove sunburn


Turmeric works like a sunscreen lotion. If your skin is tanned due to sunlight, then to get rid of tan, mix almond paste, turmeric and curd, apply it on the skin and then wash it with water. This will eliminate tanning. Besides, the skin will also improve.


4. Effective in dental diseases


Use turmeric to make teeth healthy and gums strong. For this, take some turmeric, salt and mustard oil and mix it. Now massage the teeth and gums thoroughly with this mixture. With this remedy, swelling goes away and tooth decay is eliminated.


5. Helpful in internal injuries


Turmeric is very beneficial in case of injury. In case of muscle strain or internal injury, drinking warm milk mixed with turmeric provides instant relief from pain and swelling.


Applying a paste of turmeric and water on the injury also provides relief.


6. Relief from cough


Use turmeric lump in cough. If you suddenly start coughing then put a small lump of turmeric in your mouth and suck it, this will stop the cough. In case of problem of phlegm along with cough, it is beneficial to drink a glass of warm milk mixed with one-fourth teaspoon of turmeric.
