Manipulating the structure of DNA or genetic material as required by scientists is called gene manipulation or genetic engineering.

Genetic engineering is called gene manipulation or genetic engineering.

Genetics theory goals or objectives

The focus of genetic chemistry involves artificial synthesis of chemical substances, separation of DNA from two different genes.

Genetic engineering is also called recombination DNA technology.

Therefore, the DNA conglomerate created from two different databases is used as a new DNA and multiple components are prepared in batch. Thus the DNA formed by joining of DNA segments from two different sources is called recombination and the process involved is called recombination.

Lactic acid, citric acid, acetoacetic acid, ethanol, glycerin etc. are being evaluated on industrial scale by gene engineering or recombinant DNA technology.

Mechanism of Recombinant DNA Technology

1. Preparing ancient segment of DNA.

2. Selection of carrier DNA.

3. Allowing recombinant DNA to enter the nutrient medium.

4. Selection of nuclear weapons containing recombinant DNA and preparing their clone in the medium.

5. Formation of a set of adjuvants for entry of recombinant DNA residues or clones into other host cells.

6. Pollution control-

The work of destroying the wastes discharged from industrial institutions, sewage and detergents discharged from homes, oil spread on the surface of the sea, insecticides, pesticides etc. is done by bacteria created through genetic engineering. It is called superbug.

7. DNA Finger Printing

Comparative study of DNA fragments is done by cleavage of DNA with the help of endonuclease enzyme. Through this technique a person, his parents, the criminal can be identified. This technique was invented by Alec Jeffriev (1986).

Transgenic plants and animals are being created using genetic engineering. Biotechnology is also being used for gene transfer in plants.
